SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Ningxia Hanas New Energy Group has cut its prices of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by yuan (CNY) 307-310/tonne ($48-49/tonne) since 18 June to increase sales, traders said on Wednesday.

The ex-work (EXW) price is CNY310/tonne lower at CNY3,570/tonne, and the delivered (DEL) price fell by CNY307/tonne to CNY3,523/tonne, they said.

The new prices will be effective until 18 July but apply only to the first 10,200 tonnes of LNG, an east China-based trader said.

Ningxia Hanas New Energy Group has been conducting trial runs at its 3m cbm/day LNG plant at Yinchuan since late May, and is eyeing commercial operations from 16 July.

The company is largely engaged in city gas networks, power and heating cogeneration projects and LNG production.
