SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shanghai Soap will restart its 100,000 tonne/year fatty acid line at Nantong in Jiangsu province on 25 June, a company source said on Wednesday.

The company switched the line to produce soap on 20 May because it was the peak season for soap production, the source said.

The restart will put some pressure on thety acid market because the supply will increase amid a weak demand season, a market player said.
