HOUSTON (ICIS)--Sasol's cracker in Louisiana was taken down over the weekend for maintenance, the company said on Wednesday, adding that the unit in Lake Charles is expected to resume production next week.
The company has 470,000 tonnes/year of ethylene at the site.
The shutdown is the second in recent days as ExxonMobil was also heard to have had an outage at its Baytown cracker in Texas on Tuesday.
