HOUSTON (ICIS)--Flint Hills Resources (FHR) reported emissions from its Port Arthur cracker in Texas in a public filing on Thursday, saying it had detected a leak in the process line of an ethylene dehydrator.

The leak was detected on Wednesday and the line was blocked in to stop flow to the process line, the company said in the filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

No information about the operational status of the unit was available.

An FHR spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The company has 621,000 tonnes/year of ethylene capacity in Port Arthur.
