Russia’s Tomskneftekhim to keep output volumes unchanged in 2012

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Tomskneftekhim has pledged to keep its output volumes unchanged this year, the Russian major petrochemical producer said on Monday.

Tomskneftekhim expects in 2012 that its low density polyethylene (LDPE) and polypropylene (PP) production volumes to remain largely unchanged year on year.

In 2011, Tomskneftekhim’s LDPE production reached 243,000 tonnes and PP output amounted to 128,000 tonnes, according to the company.

In related news, Tomskneftekhim announced it will shut down for regular maintenance works in early August. The turnaround is expected to take 12 days, the company said in a statement.
