S Korea’s Honam buys two H2 July naphtha lots at slight discounts

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical bought two 25,000 tonne naphtha cargoes late on 25 July for arrival in the second half of July at slight discounts, traders said on Tuesday.
One lot, which will head to Daesan, was sold at a discount of $1.50-2.00/tonne (€1.20-1.60/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), while a second parcel, which will head to Yeosu, was settled at a discount of $1.00/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
Honam Petrochemical has just agreed on its one-year term contract late last week at slight discounts to small premiums.
The company previously bought on 19 June two 25,000-tonne spot cargoes for full-range naphtha for second half of July delivery at a slight discount.
