SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Taizhou Petrochemical is planning to restart its 15,000 tonne/year solvent oil plant at Taizhou in Jiangsu province on 27-28 June following a scheduled turnaround that started on 23 May, a company source said on Tuesday.
The restart will increase supply in east China by 1,000-1,200 tonnes in July, which is expected to weigh on prices as demand is weak, traders said.
Mainstream No 200 solvent oils were traded at yuan (CNY) 8,500-8,800/tonne ($1,336-1,384/tonne) on 25 June in east China, flat on one week ago, according to ICIS.
Taizhou Petrochemical mainly produces No 200 solvent oils.
