SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) combined imports in May rose to 929,400 tonnes – up by 8.0% from April, and an 8.4% year on year increase, China customs data show on Tuesday.
According to the data, the nation’s PP imports totalled 349,300 tonnes in May – a 2.9% increase from April, and up by 12.2% from the same period last year.
China’s PE imports in May increased by 11.3% month on month to 580,100 tonnes – up by 6.3% compared with the same period last year.
