SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical has postponed the restart of its 850,000 tonnes/year cracker to the middle of July from late June, a company source said on Wednesday.

The cracker was taken off line for scheduled maintenance in late May for a period of one month.

However, the company has decided to delay the restart, the source said but did not give any reason for the postponement.

Jilin Petrochemical is located in Jilin, northeast China, and is a subsidiary of PetroChina.
