SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Two new maleic anhydride (MA) units in China are operating at 60-70% of capacity following start-ups in early June, company sources said on Thursday.

Sanwei Haoxin Chemical is running its 20,000 tonne/year MA unit at Hongtong city in Shanxi province  at 60% of capacity after starting it up on 1 June, a company source said.

Jiangsu Danyang Zhongchao Chemical is running its 25,000 tonne/year MA unit in Jiangsu at 70% of capacity after starting it up on 2 June, a company source said.

There is little impact on the market as the two capacities are small, a trader said.
