SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) Huahe Coal Chemical Company plans to start up a 300,000 tonne/year ammonia and a 520,000 tonne/year urea plant at the end of 2013, a source from a construction company said on Thursday.
The two plants are being built by the Fourth Construction Co of China National Chemical Engineering, with construction starting in early June.
The two plants are located at Hegang city, Heilongjiang province, northeast China.
CNOOC Huahe Coal Chemical did not disclose any financial details about the plants.
Construction is expected to be complete on 30 December 2013, the source added.
