China's Tianjin Lugang to shut SBR plant for maintenance in August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Tianjin Lugang Petroleum Rubber is planning to shut its 100,000 tonne/year styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) plant for a 50-day regular maintenance shutdown at Tianjin from 10 August, a company source said on Friday.

The plant, which consists of two lines, produces non-oil grade 1502, non-oil grade 1500 and oil-extended grade 1712.

The SBR plant is running at full capacity, the source added.

Tianjin Lugang Petroleum Rubber is a privately owned rubber producer based in Tianjin, northern China.
