Singapore's SAA to shut acrylic acid plant for maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Singapore Acrylic Acid (SAA) plans to shut down its 73,000 tonne/year acrylic acid facility in Jurong Island, Singapore, in the second half of July for a scheduled turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

The plant will be shut for three to four weeks, the source said.

SAA plans to resume operations at the unit by mid-August.
