SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indian Oil Corp will shut down its 550,000 tonne/year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant at Panipat for a catalyst change on 4-5 July, a company source said on Friday.
The state-owned company had originally planned to shut down the unit on 24 June but is running behind schedule because of slower-than-expected delivery of the catalyst, the source added.
The shutdown is likely to continue for about two weeks, the source said.
