LONDON (ICIS)--An initial July orthoxylene (OX) contract has settled at €1,045/tonne ($1,306/tonne), down by €115/tonne from the previous month, one producer and one buyer said on Friday.
The settlement was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
One producer said: "I have an agreement with my customers at €1,045/tonne FD NWE. This price represents the other levels in the market, and in the other regions, and takes supply and demand into consideration. It follows the Asian settlement, more or less."
Further confirmation from other players is pending.
