SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Xi'an City Xilan Natural Gas plans to shut its 500,000 cubic metre/day liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant at Jingbian in Shaanxi province for an annual turnaround on 10 July, a company source said on Monday.

The plant is expected to be restarted on 6 August, the source said.

The company has stopped commercial supply of LNG on 1 July and is building up stocks to ensure contract supplies are met, the source said.

“We have informed our clients of the maintenance a month in advance and have asked them to buy LNG from other suppliers,” the source added.

Northwest China-based Xi'an City Xilan Natural Gas specialises in the development and utilisation of city gas.
