SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Hainan Sun Power Co plans to build a 3 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic project at Haikou city of Hainan province, south China, a company source said on Tuesday.
The company and local government signed an agreement in late June to start the construction in the third quarter, said the source.
The company got approval for the project from local government in May this year and it will invest yuan (CNY) 42m ($6.6m)to build the project, the source added.
No other details were immediately available.
