SINGAPORE (ICIS--China’s Shandong Hualu-Hengsheng Chemical has achieved on-spec products at its new 50,000 tonne/year monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant at Dezhou, in Shandong province, the company said on Tuesday.
The plant was commissioned recently, the company said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, without giving an exact date.
Commercial operations are expected to begin later this month, a company source told ICIS, adding that sales would focus on Chinese domestic markets.
