China’s Qingdao Petrochemical plans refinery maintenance late Aug

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Qingdao Petrochemical plans to shut its 100,000 bbl/day refinery at Qingdao in Shandong province on 20 August for a turnaround, a company source said on Tuesday.

The shutdown is expected to last around 50 days till 10 October, according to the source.

Qingdao Petrochemical is a subsidiary of Sinopec and mainly processes Brazilian crude.
