SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical restarted its 140,000 tonne/year styrene monomer (SM) unit at Jilin in north China on 1 July, a company source said on Tuesday.
The plant was shut down on 4 June for a 28-day maintenance period.
The producer’s downstream 180,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) unit was restarted at the same time, the source added.
