SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Kaneka Corp plans to shut its 400,000 tonne/year vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant at Takasago in the middle of July for a turnaround, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.

The maintenance will last for around two weeks, the source added.
