SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Denka ?xml:namespace>Singapore is running its 200,000 tonne/year polystyrene (PS) unit in Jurong Island at 100% run rates, a company source said on Thursday.
“The company is currently running the plant at full rates as we are trying to build up on inventory levels,” the source said.
Inventory levels now are low because the company had “over sold” last month, the source added.
Denka Singapore has temporarily stopped offers for general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) spot cargoes into India and the Middle East markets from this week on limited availability, the source said.By: Samuel Wong
