China’s Dexin Lianbang to shut polyether polyols unit for 10 days

SINGAPORE (ICIS)-China’s Zibo Dexin lianbang Chemical plans to shut its 230,000tonne/year polyether polyols unit for 10 days due to poor market conditions, a company source said on Friday.

The company’s polyether polyols unit is located in Zibo, and has a total capacity of 330,000tonne/year.

The company will shut down the 230,000tonne/year line on July 8 for 10 days but will keep running the other 100,000tonne/year line normally, the company source added.

Zibo Dexin Liangbang Chemical produces mainly rigid polyols slabstocks, high resilience (HR) slabstocks, mattresses, CASES (polyurethande cases) and polymer polyols (POP).
