China's Jilin Petrochemical restarts oxo-alcohols plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical has restarted its 240,000 tonne/year oxo-alcohols plant on 4 July after completing a scheduled turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

The plant located in Jilin province produces 120,000 tonnes/year of n-butanol (NBA) and 120,000 tonnes/year of 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH).

It was taken off line on 28 May, the company source said.
