China’s Sinopec Shijiazhuang Refining restarts capro lines

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Shijiazhuang Refining & Chemical Co (SRCC) has restarted its two caprolactam (capro) lines with a total capacity of 165,000 tonnes/year following one month of planned maintenance, a company source said on Friday.

The lines were shut at the end of May and are expected to achieve capro output on 10 July, the source added.

SRCC’s two capro lines have a capacity of 65,000 tonnes/year and 100,000 tonnes/year respectively.
