NAGOYA, Japan (ICIS)--Pupuk Indonesia Holding, a fertilizers conglomerate in the southeast Asian country, announced the results of an export tender it held in the afternoon on 6 July, sources said on Friday.

Pupuk Indonesia offered 30,000 tonnes of granular urea, together with two lots of 15,000 tonnes each of prilled urea from producer PT Pupuk Kaltim, for shipment by 7 August.

The 30,000 tonnes granular urea tender was awarded to US-based Gavilon, which submitted a bid of $435.50/tonne (€352.76/tonne) FOB (free on board) Indonesia, well above the “owner’s estimate”, or minimum price set by the supplier at $430/tonne FOB Indonesia.

Other bids were submitted by Trada at $435.00/tonne, Dreymoor at $430.00/tonne, Fertcomm at $429.00/tonne and Brio Agrochem at $428.10/tonne, all on an FOB Indonesia basis.

Pupuk Indonesia awarded the first 15,000-tonne prilled cargo to Brio Agrochem at $416/tonne FOB Indonesia and the second 15,000-tonne parcel was not awarded because the other bids fell below the “owner’s estimate” set at $415/tonne FOB Indonesia.

The next highest bidder was Dreymoor at $400/tonne FOB Indonesia, according to sources.
