SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) futures were largely unchanged on Monday, in tandem with stable domestic spot prices and an unclear market direction, said industry sources.

Domestic LLDPE spot prices were at yuan (CNY) 10,150-10,500 ($1,593-1,648/tonne) on 9 July, unchanged from 6 July, according to Chemease, an ICIS service in China.

September LLDPE futures, the most actively traded contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), closed at CNY10,100/tonne, up by CNY10/tonne from the settlement price of CNY10,090/tonne on 6 July.

Around 1.29m tonnes of LLDPE or 514,792 contracts for delivery in September were traded on Monday, according to DCE data.
