Czech chem production flat in May, industrial output falls 2.4%

LONDON (ICIS)--The production of Czech chemical and chemical products was flat in May, edging down 0.1% year on year during the month, the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) said on Monday.

Overall, May industrial production in the Czech Republic fell 2.4% year on year and dropped 0.1% month on month, it added.

Year on year, manufacturing of rubber and plastic products slipped 0.3%, while textile production, furniture production and the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers were all flat with figures of 0.0%, -0.1% and +0.1%, respectively.
