HOUSTON (ICIS)--Refiner CITGO did not experience production loss following a compressor shut down at its Lemont refinery in Illinois, a company official said on Monday.

The 167,000 bbl/day refinery reported a shut down of a compressor on Sunday, which led to flaring, according to a filing with the US National Response Center.

“A compressor shutdown at the CITGO Lemont Refinery on 8 July did not have an impact on production. It was restarted on the same day,” said the CITGO official.
