SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s HMC Polymers is expected to restart its 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Map Ta Phut on the evening of 10 July, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.
The PP plant was shut on 4 July, so it could be switched to produce another PP grade, the source said.
The producer’s two other PP plants at the same site with a combined capacity of 450,000 tonnes/year are running at 100% capacity, he said.
