HOUSTON (ICIS)--A CITGO refinery at Corpus Christi, Texas, did not experience a production loss despite a power outage, a company official said on Monday.
The 165,000 bbl/day refinery had a power outage overnight on Sunday at the East Plant. Power has since been restored and there was no impact on production from this incident, the company official said.
The refinery also reported a tube leak in a process cooler that occurred on Sunday afternoon, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
The CITGO official declined to comment on which units were affected by the outage.
