China starts anti-dumping investigation on polysilicon from South Korea

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Ministry of Commerce has started an anti-dumping investigation on polysilicon products from South Korea on 16 July, a statement from China Silicon Industry Association said on Tuesday.

The ministry is examining how polysilicon products from South Korea harm the industry in China and will decide whether to impose anti-dumping duty (ADD) on the products from South Korea after the investigation, according to the statement.

The ministry did not provide further details on the duration of the investigation.
