Correction: In the ICIS news story headlined "Asia naphtha crack spread hits 2-month high at near $100/t" dated 17 July 2012, please read in the headline and first paragraph ... at $93.23/tonne ... instead of ... at near $100/tonne .... The second paragraph was revised to show the closing numbers of first-half September naphtha contracts. A corrected story, with recasts, follows.

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia’s naphtha crack spread hit a two-month high to close at $93.23/tonne on Tuesday on the back of strong buying activities amid high run rates at regional crackers, market sources said.

At the close of trade on 17 July, the crack spread between first-half September open-spec naphtha contracts and September Brent crude futures was up $8.13/tonne to $93.23/tonne, according to ICIS.
