HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Marathon Petroleum is restarting its 206,000 bbl/day Robinson refinery in Illinois after a planned turnaround, a company spokesman said on Tuesday.
“The Robinson refinery is in the process of completing its planned turnaround activities. The refinery is currently bringing units back on line and anticipates normal operations soon,” said Marathon Petroleum communications manager Shane Pochard.
Pochard did not comment further on refinery operations, including which units were under maintenance.
The turnaround began at the beginning of June.
