South Korea’s S-Oil nominates Aug PX ACP at $1,470/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>South Korea’s S-Oil has nominated its August paraxylene (PX) Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,470/tonne (€1,205/tonne), sources said on Thursday.
The company’s initial nomination for July was $1,330/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia, which it later revised down to $1,250/tonne.
Rival Japanese producers JX Nippon Oil & Energy and Idemitsu Kosan had earlier nominated their PX ACP for August at $1,490/tonne CFR Asia.
