China imposes temporary ADD on glycol ethers from US, EU

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China will levy deposits on ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (EB) and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether (DB) imports from the US and EU as temporary antidumping measures from 28 July, the Ministry of Commerce said on Friday.

China has been conducting antidumping investigations on those imports since November 2011 and preliminary conclusions said that dumping activities existed and domestic industries were hurt therefore, according to a statement from the Ministry.

The ministry did not say how long the temporary measures would last.
