HOUSTON (ICIS)--Refiner CITGO is performing maintenance work on its fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit at its Lemont refinery in Illinois, a company official said on Monday.
The FCC unit at the 167,000 bbl/day refinery was shut down on 28 July following an equipment issue, CITGO said in a filing with state regulators.
“We expect to complete repairs within the week,” the official said.
