BASF appoints senior vice president for PU in Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--BASF has appointed Dr Ramkumar Dhruva as senior vice president, polyurethanes, Asia Pacific, with effect from 1 August 2012, a statement from the company said on Tuesday.

Dr Ramkumar Dhruva succeeds Dr Melanie Maas-Brunner, who will return to BASF SE in Ludwigshafen, Germany, as senior vice president, engineering plastics, Europe, with effect from 1 November 2012.

Currently, Dr Dhruva is vice president of BASF’s coating business in the Asia Pacific region, a role he has held since 2008, according to the statement.
