SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina has settled its August contract price for Daqing and Jidong crude at yuan (CNY) 5,233/tonne or $112.13/bbl inclusive of tax, up by CNY36/tonne from July, a company source said on Tuesday.

The price hike is in line with firming crude values in the international markets, the source said.

Daqing and Jidong crude account for 38% of PetroChina’s total crude output.

PetroChina’s August settlement prices for Huabei, Dagang and Changqing crude, on the other hand, were largely up by CNY25-40/tonne from July, the source said.
