SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Hualong Glycerine will restart its 20,000 tonne/year crude glycerine plant at Zhongshan in south China on 7 August, a company source said on Wednesday.

The plant was taken off line on 29 July due to seasonal weak demand for the material, and to give workers holiday during the hot summer days, the source added.

The shut down will not have any impact on the glycerine market, market source said.
