SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s South Petroleum & Chemical Industry plans to shut its two polyester lines with total capacity of 400,000 tonnes/year at Shaoxing in Zhejiang on 20 August, a company source said on Thursday.

The two lines were planned to be shutdown for 15-20 days of regular maintenance, the company source added.

The main products of these two lines are pre-oriented yarn (POY) and fully drawn yarn (FDY). The two lines are currently running at 100% operation, and will still run at full capacity after maintenance, the source said.
