SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Chinese oil majors Sinopec and PetroChina have raised their August jet kerosene prices by yuan (CNY) 96/tonne ($15/tonne) month on month, in line with firming international prices, sources from both companies said on Friday.

Since 1 August, Sinopec and PetroChina have been charging CNY6,814/tonne and CNY6,804/tonne ex-refinery respectively for jet kerosene supplies to China National Aviation Fuel – the sole jet fuel supplier to airlines in China.

Under the existing pricing mechanism, jet fuel prices are adjusted on the first day of each month to reflect changes of the benchmarking mean prices in Singapore in the previous month.
