SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shaoxing Sanyuan Petrochemical plans to restart its 500,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Shaoxing in eastern China’s Zhejiang province next week, a company source said on Monday.

The source said the plant was shut on 3 August as the transportation of its feedstock propylene was delayed due to a typhoon.

Local distributors said the shutdown will have limited impact on the market because of its short duration.
