SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Sinopec subsidiary Jinan Petrochemical has delayed the start-up of its 3m tonne/year crude distillation unit (CDU) at Jinan in Shandong province to late September, a company source said on Friday.
Jinan Petrochemical had originally planned to start up the unit in July.
The delay was caused by slower-than-scheduled construction progress, according to the source.
Jinan Petrochemical currently operates a 5m tonne/year CDU at the same site. It processes mainly domestic Shengli crude and imported crude. By: Jean Zou+65 6780 4359
