CAMPINAS, Brazil (ICIS)--Brazil’s Braskem will inaugurate on 17 August the start-up of its new 200,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in the city of Marechal Deodoro, Alagoas, the company said on Monday.
Braskem president Carlos Fadigas will give details during the inauguration about the 1bn reais (R) ($496m, €402m) project and will talk about the future plans of the company.
Brazil president Dilma Rousseff will attend the inauguration, Braskem said.
