HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol stocks came down for the second consecutive week, while production levels moved higher, according to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday.
Ethanol stocks for the week that ended on 10 August were at 18.4m bbl, down by 300,000 bbl/day or 1.6% from 18.7m bbl a week earlier.
Meanwhile, ethanol production was at 819,000 bbl/day, up by 2,000 bbl/day or 0.2% from 817,000 bbl/day the previous week.
