MOSCOW (ICIS)--SANORS has approved a project to build a new methyl methacrylate (MMA) production facility, the Russia-based group of companies said on Thursday.
The new facility would have a capacity to produce 70,000 tonnes/year of MMA and rely on technologies provided by Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals.
The project, estimated to cost around roubles (Rb) 5bn (€128m), is planned to be built in the Samara region of central ?xml:namespace>
Located in Novokuibyshevsk, in the Samara region, the company was formed on 29 April 2011, after consolidating the producers Novokuibyshevsk Petrochemical Company, Neftechimia and Samaraorgsintez.
