HOUSTON (ICIS)--PotashCorp will shut down its Lanigan potash mine for four weeks starting next month in keeping with its practice of “matching supply with market demand”, the Canadian fertilizer producer said on Thursday.

The inventory-related shutdown is scheduled for 15 September – 13 October, PotashCorp said.

The Lanigan facility has a 2.3m tonne/year capacity, according to ICIS plants and projects.
