SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has bought by tender 75,000 tonnes of naphtha for delivery into Yeosu in the second half of September, traders said on Tuesday.

The cargoes were done at a small discount to Japan quotes CFR (cost and freight), they added.

LG Chem previously bought three 25,000-tonne naphtha cargoes for second-half September delivery to Daesan, at a premium of $6.50/tonne (€5.27/tonne) to Japan CFR quotes.

Prices have fallen because of ample prompt supply, traders said.
