SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japanese producer Mitsubishi Chemical is operating its three naphtha crackers at an average rate of 85% of capacity in August, company sources said on Thursday.

The rates for the 489,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker in Kashima and the 500,000 tonne/year cracker in Mizushima are unchanged from levels in July, they said.

The 392,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker in Kashima was operating at 60-65% of capacity in July after being restarted on 5 July following a turnaround on 10 May-4 July.
